Pediatrician / Outpatient Pediatrics

Location: Northwest Georgia, near Calhoun

Permanent | Full-Time | $250,000-$300,000 Base Salary

A well-established pediatric practice in Northwest Georgia is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician to join its outpatient team. This is a 100% outpatient pediatrics opportunity with a predictable schedule, strong clinical support, no hospital rounding or ER responsibilities, and a compensation package designed for long-term stability.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care from newborn through adolescence
• Perform well-child visits, preventive care, and routine developmental assessments
• Evaluate and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Provide immunizations and age-appropriate health education
• Coordinate specialty referrals and follow-up care
• Counsel parents and caregivers regarding treatment plans and preventive health
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with nursing and administrative support staff to provide efficient patient care

Schedule

• Full-time
• Primarily Monday through Friday
• One Saturday morning per month
• No Sundays
• No hospital rounds
• No ER coverage
• The position is entirely outpatient

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Active Georgia medical license preferred, or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication and family-centered patient care skills
• Interest in a long-term outpatient pediatric practice

Compensation

Guaranteed base salary is based on experience:

• New graduate: $250,000
• Up to 5 years of experience: $275,000
• More than 5 years of experience: $300,000

The client estimates the overall annual package value at approximately $350,000-$400,000, depending on experience and eligibility for applicable benefits.
