ABOUT THIS JOBTHIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY OR ARMY RESERVEAs a Bridge Crewmember, you'll help construct bridges and rafts to help Soldiers cross rough terrain, bodies of water, and barriers they might encounter in the field. You'll help create floating bridges and rafts from a boat as well as help combat engineers create safe crossings on land by building structures or demolishing obstacles. Skills you'll learn align with Construction & Engineering, Maintenance & Repairs, and Physical & Mental Strength. In addition, there are 47 nationally recognized certifications available to earn!REQUIREMENTS14 weeks of One Station Unit Training, which includes Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual TrainingU.S. Citizen17 to 42 Years OldHigh School Diploma or GEDMeet Tattoo GuidelinesNo Major Law ViolationsNo Medical ConcernsBENEFITSThe Army offers a complete package of benefits that not only supports you and your family but also helps you advance in your career.
