Your typical day will involve:

• Safely operating, transferring, and delivering freight using a 53ft tractor trailer at loading docks
• Utilizing material handling equipment to load and unload materials safely
• Keeping accurate documentation, including daily logs, vehicle inspections, mileage, and shipping records
• Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and providing necessary documentation; ensuring trailers are properly closed
• Performing basic maintenance on equipment and reporting any malfunctions
• Securing loads properly and ensuring compliance with weight limits
• Maintaining cleanliness within assigned vehicles and designated areas
• Inspecting trailers prior to movement to confirm their condition
• Adhering to all safety policies and practices while working

What you need to thrive with us:

At a minimum, you will need:

• At least 6 months of experience with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 2 years
• A current valid CDL A and a clean driving record

It would be advantageous if you also have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with various types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
