Competitive base pay Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision) effective Day 1 Generous PTO program Retirement plan with company match Employee referral bonus program Tuition reimbursement, scholarships, growth opportunities Responsibilities Greet residents and guests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner Accurately take resident and guest orders, entering menu selections into a point‑of‑sale or similar electronic system Serve meals and beverages promptly and professionally Fill room‑service menu orders and expedite delivery; ensure all room‑service trays are retrieved upon conclusion of dining Clear tables during and after residents and guests have concluded dining Arrange table settings appropriately and efficiently Stock pantry areas with adequate supplies; complete assigned side jobs and perform thorough cleaning of the culinary venues Qualifications Prior experience in food service operation preferred Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic mathematics Ability to follow written and oral instructions General computer knowledge required Ability to work in a fast‑paced, friendly environment Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to safely perform essential functions of the job without harm to self or others with or without reasonable accommodation Company Overview Lifespace Communities, headquartered in West Des Moines, Iowa and Dallas, Texas, is one of the nation's largest senior living providers of non‑profit retirement communities.
