PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Munster, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of medical conditions and possess the skills required to perform complex medical procedures. Assignment Details Assignment Type: Locals OK Shift Details: 3x12 Nights Floating between ICU and IMCU as required Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2295 (negotiable) Epic charting experience required 12 beds, daily census of 10 Weekend coverage: 8 shifts per contract Orientation hours: 24 Responsibilities Assist with the insertion and removal of chest tubes Manage patients with respiratory failure Monitor and adjust ventilators and CPAP/BiPAP machines Provide care for ventilated patients and those with complex medical needs Qualifications Required: Indiana or Compact RN license at time of submission Experience with Epic charting system Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS 2 years of ICU experience required Skills in managing dysrhythmias, ventilator management, and infection prevention Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Acute Kidney Injury, and BiPAP/CPAP management Preferred: Charge experience Job Type Not Provided PEL/VIP Job ID 65750220.
