Telemetry Nurse Opportunity

Provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring in a telemetry unit. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon admission and continuously monitor cardiac rhythms.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans incorporating patient-specific factors.
• Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families about their health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient care activities accurately and maintain compliance with privacy regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid CA Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of two years’ current experience in telemetry or critical care nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac monitoring, anatomy, and physiology.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to prioritize patient care in a fast-paced environment.
