Contract | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, schedule varies with every other weekend | Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and diagnostic services in an acute care setting
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by the care team
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
• Expected to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Active Georgia Respiratory Care License (RRT)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification through NBRC
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• 2 professional references required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity or acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with a wide range of respiratory diagnostic procedures and equipment
