Logistics Team Leader

Overview As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Your work ensures that our customers’ products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision, impacting businesses and communities worldwide. Shift Schedule We have 2 shifts available:

1. st shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
2. nd shift: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, Monday‑Friday

Location: Groveport, Ohio. Responsibilities Team Lead is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, verifying, and shipping goods, and for various duties assigned to ensure efficient operation of the distribution center. The Team Lead directs and trains employees to execute safe, accurate procedures; assigns work, provides guidance, audits performance, solves complex problems, and enforces safety standards. Verify, receive, and record inbound/outbound shipments, ensuring paper and system accuracy. Oversee unloading, inventory integrity, product rotation, and physical inventory counts. Assign and monitor daily work, maintain clean workstations, and manage supplies and schedules. Promote safety by adhering to OSHA, MSDS, and company standards while operating MHE as required. Provide team guidance, training, and issue resolution while maintaining strong communication and accurate reporting. Qualifications 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. 1–2 years in a leadership role with direct reports. Skills and Experience Detail-oriented, thorough, and accurate. Strong problem‑solving ability. Kapability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to train less experienced material handlers and warehouse associates. Computer proficiency for task execution. Experience operating power‑operated equipment. Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
