As a member of our team, you will be reminded why you wanted to be a nurse! **Our new 4-day workweek schedule provides for greater work/life balance.** The Hospice Nurse: functions as a member of the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team, assesses the needs of patients and families in a variety of settings and situations, participates in the development of each patient’s plan of care, performs case management and direct patient care, and participates in a night and weekend on-call rotation. Candidates should possess compassion, sensitivity, and dedication, as well as strong problem- solving skills and the ability to work autonomously. Hospice of Dubuque provides orientation, mentoring programs, and ongoing education within a supportive work environment that enables employees to grow as professionals, while performing meaningful work. RN with minimum one year of nursing experience required. BSN preferred. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Individual must be licensed in Iowa, and willing to obtain Illinois/Wisconsin license if not already licensed there. Competitive wage and benefits package.
