Security Officer Patrol Operations

Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur - 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri - 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat - 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun - 07:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property representatives by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site policy. Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for Allied Universal leadership and property management representatives. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
