Production Supervisor

Talis Groups' client is a well-established, leading industrial facility, dedicated to responsible, sustainable, and compliant production. They are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for 1st shift (7am 3pm) in their Furnace Department at the Louisville facility. This position will lead production operations, ensure quality standards, and support a safe and efficient work environment primarily in the Furnace Department.

Salary: $70 85,000 + full benefits package including private local medical clinics, dental, vision, matching 401K & much more. Be part of an amazing team environment.

Highlighted Duties:

• Supervise production workers for your shift.
• Work with Production and Quality Managers on best practices for sample management and tracking.
• Monitor processes and products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain product inventory levels to meet customer orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Assist in investigations of safety incidents, process issues, and customer complaints.
• Ensure products are delivered on time in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Communicate regularly with Sales and Traffic teams.
• Enforce Quality Management System procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance monitoring.
• Manage employee schedules and payroll records, ensuring accurate time entry.
• Uphold all safety requirements and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Address employee concerns and grievances in a fair and consistent manner.

Highlighted Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing supervision experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven leadership ability to direct teams, foster collaboration, and motivate employees.
• Capable of working effectively with internal teams and external partners.
