Occupational Therapist - Inpatient/Outpatient

Summary The Occupational Therapist (OT) role organizes and conducts prescribed skilled OT services through the application of purposeful, goal-directed activity in the evaluation and treatment of patients whose function is impaired by physical illness or injury, emotional disorder, congenital or developmental disability, or the aging process to achieve the optimum functioning, to prevent disability, and to maintain health. This role develops and implements individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust interventions as needed. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for collaborating with families, interdisciplinary teams, and other healthcare professionals to support communication of functional outcomes.
