About the Hotel The Wallhouse Hotel is located in Walnut Creek, Ohio. Job Description Provide excellent customer service to all guests of the hotel, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, balance cash, reconcile credit cards, answer the phone and attend to the needs of the guest. Essential Job Functions Be in required uniform, name tag, and earpiece. Greet all guests. Provide information to guests about policies, services, and amenities. Respond to guest requests and sell rooms to walk‑in guests. Enter and change reservations in the system, post charges to guest accounts, process payments, make necessary changes to guest accounts. Inform housekeeping of any room changes. Respond to guest complaints, answer the phone, transfer calls. Clean the front desk area and the surrounding area, complete checklists, maintain daily logs, balance cash drawer. Stand for an 8‑hour shift. Additional Responsibilities Attitude must encourage team growth and hospitality service. Must be willing to complete hospitality training, education on the hospitality industry, and any other duties given by the supervisor or general manager.
