Job Description:
The RN in the ICU is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various critical conditions. This includes direct patient assessment, implementing care plans, and ensuring patient safety through vigilant monitoring and adherence to established protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Administer care to patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, and myocardial infarction
- Titrate medications and manage drips including vasopressors and sedatives
- Float to PCU and Medsurg as needed, with provided training
Requirements:
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years preferred ICU experience
- Experience with drips, vents, and bipaps
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Preferred experience in travel nursing
