Your expertise can truly make a significant impact!Key Responsibilities:Apply the principles of electrical and electronic theory and related experience to design, program and troubleshoot state of the art packaging machinery.Read and troubleshoot ladder logic within motion controls. including programming of servo drives (AB).Use expertise to problem-solve design issues in a team environment.Customize program features based on customer specifications.Run initial commissioning of machines using the developed program. Debugging any issues that may occur during initial testing.Collaborate with team on research and development projects that could be implemented on future projects.Support Customer Service with programming of replacement components on an as needed basis.Create wiring schematic, program diagrams, and complete bill of materials.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience in capital equipment design and service.Required:2-4 years of related electrical design experience.Proficient in the use of CAD software for electrical design documentation utilizing SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD or similar system.In-depth understanding of PLC hardware, software platforms, and HMI programming.Experience in programming of Allen-Bradley PLCs or CODESYS PLC systems (Bosch RexRoth preferred, Siemens, Beckhoff, etc.)Experienced in IEC programming languages, Ladder logic, Function blocks and Structured text.Valid drivers license and ability to travel, up to 20%, including internationally.Preferred:Web development skills such as, HTML, Java Script, CSS, SQL, Python and Visual basics.Benefits:Health benefits, including dental and visionCompany paid short-term and long-term disability and basic life insurance.PTO accrualPaid holidays401(k) with company matchAn equal opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company.
