Tax Advisor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Advisor to join our growing team. This position is based out of our Bellevue, WA office and may be structured as a hybrid or fully remote role for the right candidate. Your Role Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and individual filings Ensure full compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements Conduct tax research and stay current on changes in tax legislation and regulatory updates Manage tax calendars and ensure timely filing of all required returns and payments Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules related to tax and general accounting Support month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on tax-related accruals and adjustments Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors, including preparation of requested documentation Assist with tax audits, notices, and inquiries from federal and state agencies Maintain and improve internal controls, documentation, and processes related to tax compliance and reporting Support multi-state tax registrations, filings, and ongoing compliance requirements Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required 2-4 years of public accounting or corporate tax experience Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations Experience preparing complex tax returns, including corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary, and nonprofit filings Familiarity with multi-state tax compliance and filings Proficiency in accounting systems and tax software Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills Preferences Public accounting (CPA firm) background Experience with partnership and pass-through entity taxation Experience responding to tax notices, audits, and regulatory inquiries Familiarity with payroll tax filings and compliance Our Investment In You We provide a range of workforce opportunities: Benefits Package – see list below Competitive base salary Professional development and continuing education support Collaborative and compliance-focused work environment Support for maintaining CPA licensure We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: Health Insurance: Multiple plan options with significant employer premium coverage for medical, dental, and vision Retirement Savings: Employer-matched retirement plan, fully vested, with covered administration and management fees Paid Time Off: Vacation, personal leave, and floating holidays, with increasing accrual based on tenure Parental Leave: Paid maternity and paternity leave Wellness & Additional Support: Wellness benefits including gym reimbursement, and paid leave for bereavement, jury duty, and military service reimbursement, and paid leave for bereavement, jury duty, and military service. #J-18808-Ljbffr Soltis Investment Advisors
