Receiving Associate (1st Shift)

We're seeking an experienced Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers strong potential for permanent employment, career growth, and increased earnings based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory.
• Stock, organize, and stage materials in warehouse locations.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Create and apply inventory labels using warehouse software.
• Perform inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and restocking.
• Wrap and prepare pallets for storage or shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Cross-train in other operational areas as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of receiving or warehouse experience.
• 2+ years of forklift operating experience.
• Experience with inventory control, shipping/receiving, and material handling.
• Comfortable using warehouse systems and labeling software.
• Ability to lift, move, and stage materials throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to become certified on multiple forklift types.

Schedule

• Training: Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM-4:30 PM
• After Training: Monday-Friday, hours based on receiving needs

Work Environment

Warehouse setting with seasonal temperature fluctuations. Steel-toe or composite-toe footwear required. Frequent use of forklifts, computers, and inventory management systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
