Position: Dishwasher, Multiple Positions Available

Job Type: Full or Part Time, Non-Exempt Hourly (Full Time = 30+ Hours Weekly)

Compensation: $16-18/Hour      

Location: Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

**Multiple Shifts Available**

The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach is seeking Three (3)  Dishwashing Positions.

General Job Description/Summary of Duties:
Wash and properly store all cooking utensils, china, equipment, flatware, and glassware.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Wash all wares in dishwashing machine or by hand
• Polish all silverware, platters, and chafing dishes
• Collect trash from kitchen areas; empty garbage barrels, wash and re-line with new bags
• Examine garbage for silverware, dishes, and glassware
• Wash and polish all stainless steel in kitchen, including shelves, dish cabinets, ice machines, coffee area, refrigerators, walk-ins, etc.
• Wash or clean receiving area and trash areas
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors
• Store all dishes and other wares in proper areas
• Clean dish machine after each meal period
• Perform other tasks such as assisting in food preparation, putting away deliveries, cleaning coolers, freezers, and storerooms.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
