Industrial Maintenance Mechanic – Manufacturing Location: Middletown, NY Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Pay Rate: $30–$38 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM 4 Days On / 4 Days Off We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join a busy manufacturing operation in Middletown, NY. This hands‑on role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, experience working on industrial machinery, and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issues in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing and production equipment Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime Repair and replace mechanical components, including motors, pumps, bearings, belts, chains, and gears Complete equipment adjustments, setups, and changeovers as needed Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, and mechanical schematics Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment concerns to leadership Partner with production teams to ensure equipment operates at peak performance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies and maintenance procedures Qualifications & Skills Previous experience as an Industrial Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or Industrial Maintenance Technician required Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience Background working in a manufacturing, production, industrial, or processing environment preferred Ability to diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs independently Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Reliable, safety‑focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team Why Join This Opportunity?
