Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (9:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions
• Manage patients with complex care needs including craniotomy, chest tubes, and lumbar drains
• Perform and monitor continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) for TURP/TURB procedures
• Titrate vasoactive and other critical drips as clinically indicated
• Monitor and manage arterial lines (A-Lines) in the post-operative setting
• Hold and manage ICU-level patients in the PACU setting while awaiting inpatient bed availability

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 18 months of PACU nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience with craniotomy, chest tube, and lumbar drain management
• Experience with TURP/TURB procedures and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
• Proficiency in drip titration and arterial line management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing ICU-acuity patients in a PACU or step-down environment
• Familiarity with a high-volume, academic or tertiary care surgical setting
