Quick Facts: Location: Topeka, KS Start Date: 10/05/2026 End Date: 01/11/2027 Shift: 7 am or 11 am start, 36 hours/week guaranteed Hours/Week: 36 Employment Type: Travel Contract Licensure/Certifications: Kansas RN license or multistate license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, MOAB/CPI (all through AHA) Experience: Minimum 2 years ER experience (4+ preferred), strong ER background required EMR: Epic experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $62.31 Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time as per law Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated team support throughout the assignment What You ll Do: Provide high-quality emergency care to adult patients in a Level 2 trauma center Assess patient needs, perform diagnostic tests, and develop care plans Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow Document patient care accurately in the Epic EMR system Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and compliance policies Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and staff What You Need: Valid Kansas RN license or multistate license BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, MOAB/CPI certifications (all through AHA) Minimum 2 years of ER experience; 4+ years preferred Strong ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills About the Assignment: Join a 34-bed Emergency Department at a level 2 trauma center that delivers critical emergency care services. The facility operates a busy ED without staffing ratios, requiring adaptable and experienced RNs to keep pace with patient needs. Black scrubs required.
