Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic exams, and creating personalized treatment regimens
• Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic health issues independently or collaboratively with physicians based on your qualifications
• Guiding patients and families on disease prevention, well-being, and management strategies
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapeutic interventions within your professional scope
• Participating in ongoing patient care and chronic illness management
• Collaborating with diverse healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive, continuous patient care
• Meticulously documenting in electronic medical records (EMR) to maintain accuracy and clarity

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty certification
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or the ability to attain these within 90 days)
