- Shift: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM
- Unit Type: Operating Room Department

- Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Contract Weeks: 91 Unit Information:
- Staffing: Varies by schedule and case volume
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 patient care in the operating room Team Composition:
- CVOR Surgeons
- Registered Nurses (RN)
- Certified Surgical Technologists (CVOR Scrub Techs)
- Anesthesia Providers
- Perfusionists
- Surgical Assistants Typical Procedures Performed:
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
- Valve Repair and Replacement
- TAVR Procedures
- Aortic Aneurysm Repairs
- Vascular Surgical Procedures
- Open Heart Surgery Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Essential Skills:
- Experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technologists with open-heart surgery experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
- CVOR/Open Heart Surgery scrub experience
- Familiarity with cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
- Ability to take on-call shifts and respond within required timeframe Dress Code:
- Scrub Color/Attire - Hospital provides scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies:
- Must participate in scheduled call rotation
- Maintain competencies for cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Capability to work independently in a high-acuity CVOR setting Schedule Details:
- Regular Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
- On-Call Requirements:
- Some Thursday call coverage required
- Monthly call rotation of approximately 10-12 call days
- Weekend call is rotated among team members
