Journeyman Electrician

Journeyman ElectricianEndless Energy is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to perform residential electrical work supporting our growing HVAC, heat pump, energy-efficiency, and home electrification operations.This position is ideal for an electrician who takes pride in clean, code-compliant work, can work independently in customers' homes, and enjoys collaborating with HVAC technicians, installers, project managers, and other trades.The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for completing electrical installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and related work while maintaining Endless Energy's standards for safety, workmanship, professionalism, and customer service.What You'll DoPerform residential electrical installations, repairs, upgrades, and troubleshootingComplete electrical work associated with heat pump and HVAC installationsInstall and replace disconnects, breakers, circuits, subpanels, and related electrical componentsPerform electrical service and panel upgrades as requiredRun new circuits and wiring for HVAC and home electrification projectsDiagnose electrical issues and determine appropriate repairsRead and interpret electrical plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and job documentationEnsure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable Massachusetts and local requirementsCoordinate with HVAC installers, technicians, project managers, and other field team membersWork professionally with local electrical inspectors and assist with inspection requirements and corrections when necessaryMaintain accurate documentation for completed workCommunicate job progress, field conditions, and potential project concerns to the appropriate team membersMaintain an organized and safe work areaFollow all company safety policies and electrical safety proceduresProtect customers' homes and property while completing workDeliver a professional and respectful customer experienceRepresent Endless Energy professionally while working in customers' homes and communitiesRequirementsRequired Qualifications:Current Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician LicenseValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordStrong understanding of residential electrical systemsWorking knowledge of current NEC requirements and applicable electrical codesAbility to troubleshoot electrical systems independentlyAbility to safely use electrical tools, testing equipment, ladders, and other required equipmentAbility to work independently while also contributing to a larger installation and service teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipProfessional communication and customer-service skillsBasic computer, smartphone, and digital application skillsAbility to successfully complete required pre-employment screeningYou May Be an Especially Strong Candidate If You Have Experience WithHeat pump and HVAC electrical installationsDisconnects and dedicated HVAC circuitsElectrical service and panel upgradesSubpanel installationLoad calculations and electrical capacity assessmentsGenerator installationsBattery or energy-storage systemsSolar-related electrical workEV charger installationKnob-and-tube inspections and identificationResidential electrification projectsWorking directly with municipal inspectorsTroubleshooting electrical issues in occupied residential homesCoordinating electrical work with HVAC, plumbing, insulation, or other tradesWhat Success Looks LikeA successful Journeyman Electrician at Endless Energy:Completes safe, clean, code-compliant electrical workArrives prepared and communicates effectively with the teamIdentifies potential electrical issues before they become project delaysWorks efficiently without sacrificing safety or qualityTreats customers, coworkers, and their property with respectTakes ownership of assigned work from start through completionHelps HVAC and installation teams keep projects movingMaintains accurate job documentationRepresents Endless Energy professionally in the fieldPhysical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to perform the physical duties typically associated with residential electrical work, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, working in confined areas, and safely lifting and carrying tools, equipment, and materials.Compensation$40.00-$48.00 per hourFinal compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, licensing, technical knowledge, and qualifications.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift Occasional Saturday work may be required based on operational or customer needs.Endless Energy is an equal opportunity employer.
