General Manager Roles and Responsibilities
Position OverviewThe General Manager oversees all operational aspects of the business. The individual is responsible for leading the team, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving financial performance, and maintaining high standards of quality and service. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to achieving organizational goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Management- Provide inspirational leadership and direction to all staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Recruit, train, and manage team performance and development.
- Establish clear performance goals and regularly evaluate staff against these goals.
- Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
- Implement and maintain operational procedures and policies.
- Manage inventory and resource allocation effectively.
- Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring all financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for cost reduction.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to Person .
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times.
- Address and resolve complex customer issues and complaints.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and market share growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
