As an Access Control Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally, and use technology to document activity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized personnel, drivers, and vendors according to site procedures. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Monitor entry and exit points, delivery vehicle traffic, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized access and support orderly operations. Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, access points, and parking areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
