Role Description The Wealth Management Planner is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Summit, NJ. This role is responsible for developing personalized financial proposals, conducting detailed review of statements, and aligning strategies with clients’ long‑term goals and risk tolerance. The Wealth Management Planner will recommend appropriate wealth management solutions, and adjust plans as market conditions and Advisor needs may evolve. Day‑to‑day activities include speaking with Advisors, preparing and presenting proposals to Advisors, performing financial and investment review, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams, leveraging Simplicity Group’s products and resources, and participating in ongoing education to stay current on industry trends and best practices. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Wealth Management to design and implement comprehensive client strategies. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CFP, CFA, or ChFC are highly beneficial. Proven experience in client‑facing financial advisory or planning roles, with excellent communication, analytical, and relationship‑building skills. Ability to work on‑site in Summit, NJ, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements. Strong ethical judgment, attention to detail, and proficiency with financial planning software and common office productivity tools. 3 full years of consecutive work experience Prior experience in a Financial Services capacity (RIA, IAR, Bank, Broker Dealer, Annuity, Life) (Required) A least one of these items below is required: Series 65 Series 66 Series 7 CFP CHFC Any FINRA Licenses Core Competencies Strong organizational, prioritization, interpersonal & time management skills. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written. Collaborative and able to work effectively with others. Flexible team player who is highly adaptable to change and open to new ideas. Self‑starter with ability to work independently and to learn a wide array of subject matter. Problem‑solving/troubleshooting ability. Ability to prioritize and/or seek assistance in determining task priority. Compensation (based on experience) Base salary: $65,000 – $80,000 based on experience and licenses. Add $5,000 for CFP/CHFC. This is an Exempt position. Annual performance bonus target: 10%–15%.
