Investment Banking Team Relocation Support

Support the EUT Team in all tasks related to the movement of an Investment Banking team from the current location to a new building:

• Support in the deployments of new laptops/desktops and configure them considering the applications that the user is going to need.
• Support the remediation of EUT incidents during the movement
• Test the applications with the final users when needed.
• Make changes in the current applications to adapt them to the new building.

Understand the floor plans of the new building, the different areas that will be located in every floor and the setup based on the area (trader setup vs standard setup).

Support the team that is going to setup the equipment in the new building and help them if they have any issue

Give updates on a periodic basis to the management, identifying risks and defining actions plan to remediate them.

Help the EUT team to deploy new laptops, desktops.

Help the EUT Team to solve any issue during the movements and coordinate with the different areas to solve them (statis IPs, extend VLANs, etc.).

Support EUT doing changes in the applications to adapt them to the new building (i.e. to the new network).

Critical thinking to identify the root cause of problems and solve them in an agile manner.

Send weekly reports with the progress and risks.

Have the capacity to talk to understand the low-level details and extrapolate the concepts to the Sr. Management.

More than 10 years working in network related topics.

Native English. Other languages will be positively valued. (Spanish is a plus)

Extensive knowledge of computer components.

Extensive knowledge of wiring and its functionality.

Extensive knowledge of Operating Systems

Understand how to set-up a work desk

End user technologies – OS for standard and trading desks

Network knowledge

Knowledge of trading applications and its features – Bloomberg, TradeWeb, etc.

Operating Systems

Consoles (i.e. cmd)

UNIX/Wintel/Hypervisors/Oracle/SQL

Microsoft Office package – Power Point, Excel and Word.
