Work Arrangement:

• Onsite for the first 6 months

• Hybrid schedule available after training for employees meeting performance metrics

• Candidates must live within one hour of the facility

Pay Rate: $ 60.00/hour

After Training: Mix of:

• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST

• 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST

Fort Worth, TX Training:

Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST

After Training:

• Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM CST

What You'll Do

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide clinical oversight, patient counseling, and pharmacy operational support while ensuring safe, accurate, and compliant medication dispensing.

Clinical Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive medication reviews and drug utilization assessments

Counsel patients on new therapies, side effects, medication administration, and adherence

Screen for drug interactions and optimize pharmacotherapy plans

Document clinical recommendations and patient care activities

Support REMS programs and specialty medication protocols

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, caregivers, home health teams, and other healthcare professionals

Provide patient education and subcutaneous injection teaching

Support adverse event and product quality reporting

Operational Responsibilities:

Verify prescription accuracy and final product quality

Ensure compliance with state, federal, Medicare, Medicaid, and Board of Pharmacy regulations

Support pharmacy technicians and claim adjudication processes

Oversee quality assurance, sterile technique, and hazardous waste procedures

Maintain accurate documentation and workflow efficiency

Qualifications Required:

PharmD or Graduate of an Accredited School of Pharmacy

Active Pharmacist License in:

• Texas

• North Carolina

• Kentucky

(License must be current and in good standing.)

3–5+ years of pharmacy operations, clinical oversight, and patient care experience

2–3+ years of direct patient counseling experience

Comfortable spending 7–8 hours per day on the phone counseling patients

Excellent communication and computer skills

Ability to obtain additional state licenses if needed

Preferred:

BCOP Certified or willing to obtain BCOP certification

Specialty, oncology, infusion, or clinical pharmacy experience

Experience with sterile products and quality systems

Pay Details: $60.00 per hour
