PhlebotomistLabcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a Family Practice Clinic in Canon City, CO. 81212.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, additional hours/days may be requested in this role.Job Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a Phlebotomist1 or more years of experience with pediatric through geriatric patientsAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyAble to pass a standardized color blindness testFlexibility to work overtime as neededProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionAt Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
