This role is ideal for someone eager to strengthen their technical foundation while learning directly from senior engineers in a practical, team‑oriented setting. Key Responsibilities Assist with structural analysis, design, and preparation of construction documents Work on structural systems for commercial, institutional, and site‑related building projects Perform engineering calculations and assist with design development Support drafting and coordination efforts using engineering software and AutoCAD Collaborate with internal engineering teams, architects, consultants, and clients Participate in project meetings and assist with technical problem‑solving Conduct occasional field visits, site observations, and construction support activities Continue professional development toward PE licensure if not already licensed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus (Master’s is a plus) 1–5 years of structural engineering experience EIT strongly preferred; PE track encouraged Familiarity with structural analysis and design software AutoCAD experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in an office‑based team environment Desire to learn, grow, and take increasing ownership over time You’re early in your engineering career but want more than a production role.
