Senior Director, Advanced Technologies & Innovations

Senior Director role leading early-stage technology innovation and product development at iRhythm Technologies. Reports to Chief Medical & Scientific Officer; translates strategic priorities into validated technology programs across AI, sensors, and digital biomarkers for next-generation cardiac health solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of early-stage technology initiatives aligned with corporate strategy and clinical priorities
  • Develop business cases, product concept documents, and investment recommendations for approval
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams on AI, algorithms, digital biomarkers, and wearable technology exploration
  • Serve as operational leader for Innovation Committee; represent Advanced Technologies across product, regulatory, and commercial teams
  • Evaluate strategic partnerships, licensing opportunities, and acquisition targets with Business Development and Corporate Strategy

Requirements

  • Proven track record translating innovation strategy into executable, de-risked programs
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment across competing stakeholder priorities
  • Experience leading early-stage product concept development and investment decisions
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies: AI, sensors, digital biomarkers, data science
  • Background in healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences innovation ecosystems
  • Capability to operate autonomously with executive-level influence and organizational leadership
