ER RN Job Details – Maine Healthcare Jobs Location: Presque Isle, Maine (04769) – Aroostook County Assignment Type: Travel Nurse / Locum Tenens Setting: Emergency Department (11-bed ED with trauma and behavioral health rooms) Facility Type: Teaching Hospital Start Date: September 1, 2025 End Date: November 29, 2025 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 (12-hour rotating shifts; days, nights, and mid-shifts 10a-10p) Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend Charting System: FirstNet EMR Estimated Weekly Pay: $1880–$2020 per week Benefits: Free parking and onsite gym for healthcare staff Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Maine or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) or Emergency Department nursing experience Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required TNCC and NRP certifications preferred Proficient in EKGs, IV starts, TNKase administration, nebulizer treatments, initiating Bipap, suture removal, casting assistance, and ventilator management Charge nurse or leadership experience is a plus (please indicate on your application) Comfortable providing care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply!
