Empower and uplift students as a Special Education Teacher at an elementary resource room near Minneapolis. This contract opportunity runs from August 31, 2026, through June 9, 2027, offering a meaningful way to shape the academic and personal growth of learners across multiple grade levels. Guide up to 22 students as you foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for the full school year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license required
• Solid background working with students experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges
• Experience delivering individualized instruction based on IEPs
• Skill collaborating with general education staff, related service professionals, and families
• Adaptability to teach in resource room settings across various ages and grades
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted special education instruction aligned to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Provide support services to promote academic, behavioral, and social success
• Maintain ongoing communication with families about student progress
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to plan and adapt instructional strategies
• Track and report data regarding students’ growth and achievement
• Create a positive classroom culture that prioritizes inclusion and respect
• Remain onsite throughout the school year (no virtual opportunities currently available)
