What You'll Do
As the Night Shift Charge Nurse, you will serve as the clinical leader of your unit and play a vital role in ensuring excellent resident care and positive outcomes.
Responsibilities Include:
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Medication Aides as assigned.
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly respond to changes in health status.
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
- Follow infection prevention and safety protocols.
- Support a positive team environment focused on quality care and resident dignity.
- Participate in shift-to-shift communication and care coordination.
Qualifications
Required
- Active Georgia LPN license in good standing.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Passion for serving seniors and making a positive impact.
Preferred
- Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, or Long-Term Care experience.
- Previous Charge Nurse experience.
