Pineview Cottage is looking for compassionate and experienced Medical Technicians to join our full‑time team at our beautiful facility located in Harbor Springs, Michigan. Duties and Responsibilities Administer medication to residents based on medical orders. Follow protocols regarding documentation and restocking medication carts. Participate in shift change meetings to communicate resident status or special needs to oncoming associates. Act as shift supervisor to ensure resident care needs are being properly met. Assist Caregivers during shifts with transfers and other duties as necessary. Work with physicians and the pharmacy to ensure medications are ordered properly. Report changes in resident medical conditions and behaviors to physicians, families, and community leadership. Communicate with multiple levels within the organization, including residents, families, Caregivers, Wellness Coordinators, Resident Care Director, Wellness Nurses, pharmacists, and doctors. Provide emotional support to residents by treating them with respect, dignity, and maintaining a positive and cheerful demeanor. Promote safety and well‑being of residents through written and verbal procedures, safety equipment, and awareness of potential dangers. Assist with all other duties assigned by the Wellness Coordinator and community leadership. Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good command of the English language, both oral and written. Ability to interact socially and perform under pressure. Ability to maintain positive and professional interactions with residents and families at all times. Good planning and organization skills. Experience with Microsoft programs and/or other applicable software programs and basic computer skills. High School Diploma or GED is required.
