PACKAGING SUPERVISOR

Job Overview Position: Packaging Supervisor – Monroe, WI. Responsible for daily operational activities in packaging, supervising employees to ensure efficient, safe, and high‑quality packaging of Klondike Cheese products. Responsibilities Assist with daily operational activities and support packaging team. Coordinate and advise employees on daily work. Oversee setup and operation of equipment. Communicate with team, management, and other supervisors. Ensure timely and accurate completion of production paperwork. Monitor employee performance and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices, safety, sanitation, HACCP, and BRC program. Track performance/behavior issues and administer disciplinary action. Prepare and administer 30‑day, 90‑day, and annual performance reviews. Plan and conduct cross‑training for coverage and productivity. Manage employee schedules, approve/deny time off, and maintain staffing levels. Monitor timesheets and approve them for payroll processing bi‑weekly. Follow all established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods. Perform other duties as assigned by Management. Qualifications 3‑5 years of management or relevant experience preferred. Cheese or food manufacturing experience preferred. Knowledge of department operations and prior supervisory experience in manufacturing. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Understanding of HACCP and food safety/quality legislation. Knowledge of food ingredients and packaging manufacturing processes. Ability to manage and prioritize high volume work in a fast‑paced environment. Basic math and computer skills. Strong audit technique and follow‑up skills. Ability to write reports and logs.
