Our Physical Therapist (PT) is a professional member of our healthcare team, who supports Edgerton Hospital by: Providing leadership and direction to the patient care team. Offers specialized physical therapy services to patients including evaluation and development of a plan of care which includes individualized treatment strategies. Managing, organizing, and providing direct patient care, incorporating clinical decision making and the prioritization of activities. Educating the patient's family and other health care team members by incorporating health maintenance, disease process, and discharge planning. Being responsible for the supervision of other staff, such as Physical Therapist Assistants and affiliating students. Requirements Training & Experience Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin, or eligibility and evidence of application for licensure Membership in professional group or organization is encouraged. BLS prior to independent patient care. Preferences Preference will be given to candidates comfortable in evaluating and treating patients within inpatient, swing-bed rehab, and outpatient settings. Preference will be given to candidates available to work during the work week and weekends.
