About the Role

We are seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead construction opportunities from RFP through estimating, preconstruction, buyout, and purchasing before transitioning projects to Operations.

This role serves as a key coordinator between estimating, operations, procurement, scheduling, legal, cost control, marketing, clients, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead project pursuits and preconstruction activities from RFP through buyout and handoff.
• Coordinate estimating, operations, corporate resources, and external stakeholders.
• Review project documents for scope, quality, constructability, cost, and schedule.
• Establish pursuit timelines, assign responsibilities, and drive deliverables.
• Manage client communication and relationships throughout the pursuit.
• Identify project risks and coordinate mitigation with leadership.
• Lead constructability reviews and alternative design/pricing evaluations.
• Coordinate preliminary schedules and review estimates, budgets, and cost models.
• Assist with contracts, procurement, and proposal development.
• Monitor design development and update proposals based on changes in scope, cost, and schedule.
• Coordinate with estimating, operations, scheduling, legal, procurement, and cost control teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction experience.
• Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience in preconstruction, estimating, and/or operations.
• Estimating and scheduling experience preferred.
• Familiarity with construction estimating software.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and priorities.
