Patient Care Technician (PCT)

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Key details:

• 3 to 4 days a week
• Monday to Saturday
• Early start times can be 4:15 am and latest close time is 5pm
• You must be able to open and close most days
• MWFri – 4:15 am to 5 pm
• TTSat – 5:15 am to 12 pm (hours can change or expand as we grow in patient census).
• Starting pay to train is from $16.00-$16.99 and there are two opportunities during the first year to move up in clinical ladder level and pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent. If your home schooled you will need to provide accreditation and a diploma or GED.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
