The schedule is Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30. The Surgical Tech may be required to cover one night shift during the contract period. Weekend shifts are required, typically three per schedule. On-call responsibilities include one weeknight per week and every second or third Saturday or Sunday. The facility allows for one shift to be called off every two weeks. The Surgical Tech should be experienced in a variety of surgical cases, including outpatient procedures. The ability to work with diverse patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, is essential. Daily census is approximately 10 patients. The facility operates four surgical rooms. Special procedures and techniques related to orthopedic and podiatry cases are required. The Surgical Tech will work collaboratively with the surgical team in a fast-paced environment. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. References covering the last year of work experience are required.
