Headquarters is located in Brevard, NC, with a secondary station in the Quebec community. We operate:Three ALS Paramedic ambulances during the dayTwo ALS Paramedic ambulances at nightAn on-duty Supervisor assigned to an additional ambulance for enhanced response and transport capabilities.Transylvania County has a year-round population of approximately 35,000, which more than doubles in the summer due to its popularity among tourists, seasonal residents, and summer camp attendees. The county is home to Pisgah National Forest, DuPont State Recreational Forest, and Gorges State Park, offering world-class opportunities for hiking, biking, climbing, fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, and more. We are currently accepting applications for 1 full-time Paramedic position. Applicants must hold a current North Carolina Paramedic credential.
