Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluation, stabilization, and disposition of emergency patients across multiple presenting pathologies
• Management of trauma, medical, and surgical conditions within physician scope
• Emergency procedures, as appropriate for a critical access setting
• Documentation and order entry in Allscripts EMR
• Coordination with consulting specialists, nursing, and ancillary staff

Candidate Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Arkansas medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA registration with Arkansas address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, & 5
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM
• Prior emergency medicine or relevant primary care experience
• Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Non-EM-board-certified providers must have 2,500 ED hours within last 5 years and cannot supervise residents
