Job Full Description

We are seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters to support a large-scale renovation of a multi-unit apartment complex. This role involves working on occupied and vacant units, completing high-quality finish and rough carpentry while maintaining safety, efficiency, and professionalism in an active job site environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform rough and finish carpentry in apartment units and common areas
Install framing, blocking, doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and fixtures
Complete unit turns and remodel scopes, including kitchens, bathrooms, and interiors
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision
Work alongside other trades (plumbing, electrical, drywall, etc.) to meet project timelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, especially in occupied units
Identify and report job site issues or material needs to supervisors
Ensure work meets quality standards, building codes, and project specifications

Qualifications

2+ years of commercial or residential carpentry experience (multi-family remodel preferred)
Strong skills in both rough and finish carpentry
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Experience working in occupied spaces is a plus
Ability to read blueprints and tape measure accurately
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Work Schedule

Full-time, typically Monday-Friday (some overtime may be required based on project needs)
