ED Charge Nurse MLR Healthcare is seeking a qualified Charge Nurse to join a well-respected hospital in Oklahoma. In this position, you will be responsible for the planning, organization, development, and overall management of the Emergency Department. Your role will involve ensuring that operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations while promoting excellence in patient care and enhancing departmental efficiency.
Schedule: Night Shift Pay: Competitive DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit self-motivation, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a semi-autonomous role within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Develop, maintain, review, and update policies and procedures, nursing manuals, job descriptions, and the reference library.
- Carry out administrative tasks, including completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and necessary charting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Requires
- Unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse License
- 5 to 7 years of leadership experience in Acute Care preferred
- BLS & CPR certifications required
