RN - GI Lab

Overview You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RNs, GI techs, and CNAs, working seamlessly with anesthesia and GI services to deliver exceptional care. You\'ll play a vital role in ensuring top-tier care for both inpatient and outpatient populations. You\'ll assist with advanced GI procedures such as EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, EUS, manometry, FibroScan, PillCam, Bravo, and HALO. Additionally, you\'ll provide pre-operative and post-operative recovery care, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and comfort. Rotating through all areas of GI will offer you a diverse and stimulating work environment. Responsibilities Under the direction of the department director/supervisors/charge nurse, provides pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Experience & Skills Experience: One year medical/surgical experience required; critical care, PACU, or GI endoscopy experience strongly preferred. Special Skills: Endoscopy, PACU, phlebotomy, and airway management preferred. Other: Basic computer skills. Licenses & Education License/Cert: Required: RN (Registered Nurse), State of Missouri; BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) from AHA.
