QC Technician II

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a QC Technician II to perform finished-product quality control testing in a microbiological laboratory. The role involves executing routine testing procedures, documenting results, managing inventory, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a cGMP-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform finished-product QC testing including sterility, endotoxin, pH, osmolality using approved aseptic techniques
• Accurately document testing activities and results according to cGMP and Good Documentation Practices
• Monitor laboratory supplies and materials; identify inventory needs and maintain stock levels
• Support Lean and 5S initiatives by identifying workflow improvements and maintaining organized workspaces
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate testing results to support timely product release

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; AAS degree preferred
• 2+ years experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Experience in laboratory quality control or related field preferred
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in cGMP clean room environments for extended periods
• Ability to lift 20+ pounds and perform standing, walking, and repetitive hand movements

Compensation: $17.49–$26.24 hourly
