Lead Carpenter – Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling

Lancaster, PA | Full-Time

B&M Home Improvement Solutions LLC is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter who takes pride in doing things the right way and wants an opportunity to become a key part of a growing remodeling company.

We specialize primarily in bathroom, shower, and kitchen remodeling throughout Lancaster and York Counties. Our goal isn't to rush from job to job or compete on being the cheapest contractor. We want to deliver quality work, communicate well with our customers, and build a team of people who are proud of what they produce.

This position is for someone who can take ownership of a project in the field .

You should be comfortable working independently, coordinating with other trades, solving problems, communicating professionally with homeowners, and keeping a project moving without needing someone standing over your shoulder.

If you're an experienced carpenter who feels like you've hit a ceiling at your current company, we want to give you room to grow.

What You'll Be Working On

Our projects primarily include:

• Full bathroom remodels
• Walk-in shower replacements
• Custom tile and solid-surface showers
• Kitchen remodeling
• Cabinet installation
• Interior framing and modifications
• Doors, trim and finish carpentry
• Flooring
• Drywall and minor repairs
• Demolition and project preparation
• Punch-list and finish work

We work with dedicated plumbing and electrical subcontractors, along with other specialty trades as needed.

You do not need to be an expert in every trade.

We're looking for someone with a strong remodeling and carpentry background who understands how residential projects come together and is willing to continue learning.

What We're Looking For

The right Lead Carpenter will:

• Have 5+ years of residential remodeling/carpentry experience
• Be capable of completing quality carpentry work without constant supervision
• Understand residential remodeling from demolition through finish work
• Be experienced with cabinetry, trim, framing, flooring, doors and general remodeling
• Be able to read measurements, layouts and project information accurately
• Know how to properly use power tools and carpentry equipment
• Have strong problem-solving skills
• Keep jobsites clean, organized and professional
• Communicate professionally with homeowners
• Work well with subcontractors and other team members
• Understand that quality and efficiency are both important
• Take ownership when something needs to get done
• Be dependable and show up when expected
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Be physically capable of performing residential remodeling work

Pay & Benefits

Competitive hourly pay based on experience and ability.

We would rather pay well for someone who can truly lead projects than hire solely based on the lowest hourly rate.

Quality comes first. Bonuses will never be structured to encourage cutting corners just to finish faster.
