Head of Industry, Programmatic, US Retail

Hire, train, develop, and mentor an industry-leading programmatic specialist team. Set and communicate team priorities and make decisions and support activities that align with Google’s values.Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.Establish operating excellence and strong collaboration across the Midwest and B2B Retail verticals, forging deep relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners by advising on video product strategies.Align quarterly and annual sector and vertical business planning processes for DV360 to solve for clients’ key objectives.Identify and prioritize opportunities to provide clients with solutions that best meet their objectives across our performance products. Incubate new strategic initiatives/businesses impacting the sector.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.Experience in people management.Experience with programmatic sales or programmatic advertising.Preferred qualifications:Experience in managing and developing sales teams to deliver results with a shared insight and purpose.Experience with selling Google video products, or similar video advertising solutions, with a record of consistent success.Knowledge of the linear, connected TV (CTV), social, and digital video marketplace.Knowledge for Google's ad products, especially YouTube, Display and Video 360.Understanding of customer business objectives and ability to develop joint business plans in complex, ambiguous environments.
