Registered Nurse - CV Neuro ICU

Location: Kingwood, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM

Job Description: The CV Neuro ICU unit is a 22-bed facility focused on providing high acuity care to patients with critical neurological and cardiovascular conditions. The unit is equipped with advanced technologies and operates with a robust team of 58 staff members, ensuring optimal patient care and support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care for patients in the CV Neuro ICU.
• Manage pressor medications and critical drips.
• Perform and monitor arterial line management and insertion.
• Assist with various procedures including bronchoscopy and CVC insertion.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Critical care training is essential; experience with circulatory devices preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts.
